The Brookline Community Church Youth Group promotes fellowship with other
Christians through small gatherings and offer opportunities for participation in
large gatherings and outings. We aspire to provide help to others, insight and
compassion for others through community service and mission trips. As young
adults we accept responsibility for raising our own funds for events through
innovative fund raising.
Youth Group is looking for a no longer needed video camera to video our
experience at our Mission trip to West Virginia in July 2008. We will be making
repairs to homes of people in need and would like to be able to share our
experience with the church through this video when we return. Anyone who has
a video camera that they would like to donate can contact Joyce Hegarty at
Joyce@Hegartyfamily.net or by phone at 672-6840. Thank you.
The church nursery will be open for use. There is no nursery attendant. Parents
may bring their children downstairs and sit with them if they wish. The Nursery
now has an audio speaker Installed. Any parent wishing to use the nursery will
be able to hear the service.
Bingo night at Big Bear Lodge. This is a financial asset to the church and will be
a big help in meeting our spiraling fuel costs. The time will be 12:00 noon until 3:
30 pm.
This is a wonderful social life event for the many people that attend. It seems
that a good time is had by all and sometimes you might even win. The church
will be sponsoring Bingo on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We need people to
help run Bingo on the church day (selling tickets).
If you can help please see Peter Cook, or sign up on the sheet on the bulletin
board in Fellowship Hall.
Bingo will be a major fund raiser for the church this year. Bingo will be on,
August 17th, September 21st , October 19th, November 16th, December
21st
- Please keep your pledges up to date
